Launch the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal in the middle of a global pandemic when supporters, who are the thousands of amazing people who normally rattle tins and collect the £50M+ annual donations, aren’t even allowed to leave their homes.

Lockdown shed a light on our streets and our homes unlike at any other time and this sentiment was at the heart of the creative territory we developed for The 100th Poppy Appeal in 2020, called Poppy Window.

The stunningly photographed campaign showcased British people across the nation, including veterans, standing in their windows at home, and paying tribute to the Armed Forces.  Whilst we provided the creative, the smart PR team at the Legion implemented it.

This powerful imagery captured the public’s imagination and drove significant media, a clean sweep in the nationals, front page of the Daily Telegraph, as well as extensive social engagement. It also helped deliver on 2020 donation targets.
